Chuck (and Kasey) have been a wonderful contribution to the ministry of Abundant Life. They came to us from Oklahoma just about one year ago. Chuck effortlessly leads a men's group and hosts our Sunday services. Whether you are in the later years of life of just beginning, there is always plenty of time to better acquaint ourselves with God's purposes.

5 January 2025. 

Advent (which means coming) is a four-week period of celebration and remembrance leading up to Christmas. The four themes of Advent (signified by the lighting of candles) are hope, peace, love, and joy. 

In the midst of gift giving, glitter, and overeating, let's use this season to prepare our hearts for the celebration of Jesus' first coming and for the preparation of our hearts for Jesus' imminent second coming.

29 August 2024. Many thanks to our missionaries to Poland. Rarely do we have the Greens "in the house". Enjoy this update on their ministry as well as Mike's challenging words on the Old Testament word for grace, "hessed".

11 August 2024. What a great day this was! The morning was full of young people collecting the offering (not the way they had hoped), six youth baptisms, special music and student led worship. Our students had a wonderful summer rebuilding our youth ministry... and yet our greatest days are ahead! 

26 May 2024. Grant is a 26 year old teacher for the sight impaired and will share his personal journey from sight to blindness. Even though his gradual loss of physical sight (which happened between the ages of 7-14), his vision for life's contentment has become crystal clear. Based on Philippians 4:10-13 Grant will encourage us to live fully content in our relationship with Jesus regardless of life's circumstances. 

2 June 2024. Jesse and Debbie have been a consistent source of support and encouragement to Abundant Life over the years. It is always a joy to hear from the Boggs' as they encourage us from God's Word. 

Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday are the bookends to the lost important week on the Christian calendar. Let's celebrate Jesus as King and Savior.

31 December 2024.  Starting off the new year with a fresh and renewed focus on Bible meditation will bring us all closer to the Lord.  Of all the wonderful disciplines of the Christian life, Mary and Martha taught us what is most important.  Enjoy this single sermon to keep us clearly directed on "that which is better". 

From the 650 prayers recorded in the Bible we are left with little doubt as the power of a praying person. Here are three special reminders to pray.

Stories of Christmas. The advent season spans over the four Sundays preceding Christmas.
The word advent, from Latin, means “the coming.” For centuries, Advent has been a time of spiritual reflection as well as joy and anticipation for the upcoming celebration of Christmas.  Advent brings joy, anticipation and focus to the holiday season.
During these four Sundays in December please enjoy "Stories of Advent" and let's all prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus.
