1. Church Defined: 12 January 2025 Pastor Robb Williams

Let’s grow in our understanding, renew our love and increase our participation in this, God’s ordained assembly. But first, let’s define what we are even talking about. What is the church?

Any great organization can clearly define their purpose and mission. This is true for as true for selling soda as it is for the church itself. Without such clarity of each member, we will drift. and let's be honest, we have drifted.

3. The Structure: 26 January 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

You may be surprised to know that God left us with some pretty basic prescriptive as to how a church is to be organized. It is true that we can easily conform to these prescriptive and find ourselves more productive than ever fulfilling God's mission for our local church.

4. Membership: 2 February 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

Faithfulness and participation in a local church is of great importance. In fact, without you, we are less effective and less complete. Let’s talk about where and how you fit within the working of the local church.

5. Ordinances: 9 February 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

After we settle some of these preliminary issues, let’s take it to the next step and be sure that we are each walking in obedience to the Lord in both baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

B. Core Values (8 Part)

1. Biblical Authority: 16 February 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

Every life and organization needs a standard, an authority, and we find ours in the Bible. Biblical authority sounds deep, but it is actually one of the most basic and life-changing values that we could have.

2. Missions: 23 February 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

Directly out of the New Testament playbook for the church, missions.

3. Whole Worship: 2 March 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

We as a church value living everyday bringing attention, reverence and worth to God! He earned it and we thrive from living this way.

4. Intimacy with God: 9 March 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

An increasingly used phrase these days is “intimacy with God”, which has the oldest of meaning. Its concept is found in the very heart of our own mission statement which is “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ”.

5. Genuine Community: 16 March 2025. Chuck Salser

Living as a Christian is absolutely not something meant for us to take on alone. Being actively and emotionally engaged in a community of believers will make our faith stronger, our mission more achievable and our lives more fulfilling. Christian life is best lived with others on a journey.

6. Deliberate Evangelism: 23 March 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

A core value that sits nestled close to our mission is our value to “make disciples”, commonly understood today as the dual role of evangelism and discipleship. Making disciples begins with bold proclamation but lives on through discipleship.

7. Compassion: 30 March 2025. Pastor Robb Williams

The word “compassion” is a great single word to describe the life of Jesus. Therefore, it is also a core value to us here at Abundant Life. In our mission: to bring people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, we are committed to imitate that fantastic trait of Jesus, compassion.
